Second to last week of class, christmas cheer, a lot of eepiness

It's my second to last week of school. I am very tired. I'm realizing I'm perfectly capable of doing well in school, but this year I guess I was just not motivated at all. But we move on! Working on this website has helped me relax a little and keep myself entertained when I'm not super busy with school.

Well. "Super busy", I'm normal busy, but for a guy that hasn't done anything school-related all year, this is a lot.

I feel like other than this, coding and school, I don't do a lot else. It's been fun to learn more about coding though. Even though most of the complicated stuff I do is referenced and/or copied from other websites, I'm learning to make my own pages from scratch! Which is exciting, I wasn't able to do that before. Hopefully I can keep learning as I go over the summer.

It's also early on in november and I'm already planning for christmas!! I'm a huge fan of christmas and I'm the kind of person that gets excited on like, november first, so I'm already thinking of what to get my friends and my partner. For my partner it's gonna be the first time I get her a physical gift since... well, long distance, so I'm overthinking it a lot. Hopefully everything goes right! For my friends I guess I have time to figure it out, a lot of them might get art, but my IRLs might get some items also. We'll see!

Other than that I've been meaning to get back into reading. I bought issue 1 of Ranma 1/2 and I read a bit of it but since I've been busy and tired I haven't gotten to it. I plan to also start reading Dorayaki so I can get back on track reading novels. I also started Understanding Comics a while ago and I was really hooked on it but then I kinda, closed that readcomiconline page and forgot about it. I'll get back to it! I want to read more. But yknow, who has the time.

Maybe that'd even get me to make a book and comics page like I'm planning to....

I've been also trying to get more consistent at watching TV shows, I'm making progress on The X-Files slowly but I'm making progress nonetheless. It's a bit hard to focus since it demands a lot of my attention and I like to multitask, but my love for Mulder and Scully is strong enough to endure it.

Last (official) day of high school! forever!

I finished highschool! Officially! Forever!!

Well. not technically, I still have a few classes that I didn't do well in that I need to retake over the next two weeks of november and a bit of february, but other than that I'm done! It's been a really long and difficult journey to get to this point, but I'm really happy I finally made it.

It took me a lot of strength to finish highschool, if I'm being honest. And it's still taking me a lot of strength to study for these last few things I have pending from this year to be able to go to college. I feel like it's never completley over, and there's always something left to do. I guess that's part of life, but I'm proud of myself for making it this far anyway.

today my school did the usual celebrations; the fourth years throw paint and water at the fifth years that are graduating, I took the opportunity to turn the occasion into an art piece, and signed it off as my entire class group. It's a silly thing, but I feel like they'll appreciate it.

Later today I have a chemistry class... as that's one of the classes I need to retake, I have faith! It's gonna be the hardest one to pass but I've made it this far, right?

Other than that I plan to dedicate myself to make art and/or work on this website. I want to get back to art events... I haven't done them in forever, and my friend Cier is always asking if I'm avaliable to share a stand in an artist alley. I might start working on some stuff to sell at those also? Not sure. I do want to read...

January 10th: Soo... where have I been? (Again)

Short answer: busy (and if i'm being honest a little bit depressed)

Slightly longer answer: just like with most hyperfixations, neocities is a fixation that comes and goes. that paired with the fact that I've been busy studying for february finals

but it's a new year! and honestly i haven't bothered to write down my resolutions or my thoughts, and honestly i don't feel like writing the deep thoughts i've had on the new year here, so i'll just write down my resolutions:

On other news... yesterday i bought my first proper binder. and it's great!! it feels comfy and compresses properly. i'm very happy with it :) i feel like i finally pass a little bit... now all that's left is testosterone and top surgery. lets go!!

i'm also starting drum lessons, and it's been going great so far! i'm excited for the new year! it's looking great so far :)
